QuoteAtlantic Ram Since this can go downhill quickly I just want to say I respect your opinion on this. My opinion is 1. TA was set back a bit by injury. Although I’m not certain how much of a factor it was. TA is not a route running WR so I don’t know what McVay felt his options were. But it seems like the injury didn’t help. 2. McVay runs a very detail oriented offense. I think he triedby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
And I’m not sure if we would get a straight out answer if we asked the players directly, tbh. I’m wondering if Peters and Talib aren’t truly impressed with Cooks, Woods, and Kupp. I’m betting that they are. Same thing for our WR’s. I’m betting that they’re very impressed with Peters and Talib. Meanwhile, the iron keeps on sharpening the iron. Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAtlantic Ram They have to use him and he can’t be one of the main focuses for the defense. In 2016 it was the kill Tavon drill where he was hit as soon as or before he touched the ball IIRC. So if Dallas plays him and they have a few other weapons and a competent (non Boras) OC then he will make plays. It will be great for Elliott too. Well, Tavon didn’t exactly set the world on fire iby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
... The more excited I become. Stlramz just posted a camp report that re-triggered me on this subject. Think about it... A DL of AD, Suh, and Brockers. A secondary of Peters, Talib, Joyner, and JJ. With NRC in the nickel and Shields in at dime. A few questions at LB beyond Barron, but apparently not really big questions, according to reports. Here’s bubbaramfan... I watched Shields Monday, his first time in full pads in over 2 years, and he shadowed Cooks and Woods pretty damned good. He is still fast and quick and back peddles better than Talib or Peters. If he's rusty, I can't wait to see him when he gets fine tuned. Guy is going to be an asset to the DB's. He can play on either side or in the slot. Rams backfield is deep.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams crack top 5 in latest training camp power rankings Cameron DaSilva After a headline-grabbing offseason, the Los Angeles Rams are among the favorites to win it all in 2018. They have a star-studded defense, an offense loaded with talent at every position and a head coach that’s taken the league by storm with his offensive creativity. As a result, they’ve been pegged as Super Bowlby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Aqib Talib isn't worried about Rams' locker room, says 'ask Bill Belichick' how he was as teammate Andrew Ortenberg The Los Angeles Rams made a number of splashy acquisitions this offseason. With all the new faces, on paper, they’re arguably the most talented team in the entire league. Michael Brockers is 'really comfortable' with being moved around D-line Cameron DaSilva The Los Angeles Rams run a 3-4 defense under Wade Phillips, but it’s not your traditional odd-man front. There are several aspects of a 4-3 scheme in it, particularly when it comes to the defensive line. Flexibility is key for the Rams’ D-linemen, which came into play last season. You have a gift with your ability to write these reports, George. I cannot express how much we all are looking forward to your after game reports this season. Sorry to read your take on our TE’s, but I appreciate the honesty. Good news on Kelly, though. Great to hear that your impression of our secondary reinforces what we’ve been hearing everywhere else. Quotedzrams QuoteRams43 It pleases me to read that they’re emphasizing dime sets in practice since I predicted it in a thread a while ago. Quotezn Listen to Wade talking about the Donald/Suh combo: "Middle pressure – we’re going to be No. 1 there with him and Donald. They’re not ready for those two guys.” That sounds pretty gung-ho to me. Does that sound like a situation where the Rams believed they could never bridge a 4 M difference in negotiations and so intended to replace him? In fact as said previously, wouldn'tby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Behind Enemy Lines: NFC West Training Camp Preview July 30, 2018 | By:Jake Ellenbogen We have been following Rams camp consistently but the rest of the NFC West needs to be spied on. Here’s VeteranRamFan... I'll echo some of the same observation from @bubbaramfan . Let say again that John Kelly is quick, shifty and fun to watch. He took a handoff from Allen (yes Allen, not Perez) went of the right side and sliced his way to a possible touchdown. Nice change of pace back. GZ had no issues with his FG's and having the defense rushing in. I feel that our O-line deptby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteheadslapper clearly one of the reasons he came to us was to play alongside AD. If that does not happen not only would I be bummed to miss an historic opportunity but i would also feel like Suh got a little bait and switched. Oh, Suh will play alongside AD, slapper. Sean McVay likes what he's seen from rookie John Franklin-Myers Cameron DaSilva With no first- or second-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, expectations for the Los Angeles Rams’ rookie class have been set relatively low. The Aug 7th date is important only for reporting and practicing. It’s not a deadline for contract negotiations. And it’s quite likely that AD will cave and play this year. Sooooo... The negotiation games might go on for quite a while.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that he will probably remain a Ram, too, Atlantic. It’s the best scenario for him. I was just trying to explain my thinking while attempting to answer your question about why he won’t get traded.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAtlantic Ram Donald can choose to play or not play. He has that leverage. The Rams cannot make him play. Why would the Rams make him sit for 3 years? I just don't get it? Why not trade him and get something? Why keep a distraction on a team that from all appearances is gearing up for a deep playoff run? Not sure this is opinion but I'll state it as such. Quotezn QuoteEkern55 That's the thing right there-if he doesn't report, he doesn't get paid. Who could possibly give Donald that advise? It seems like Donald got talked into some fast pitching agent's presentation where every angle of leverage Donald has in the negotiations is cut off at the knees. QuoteCeeZar I think we could lose one of those two and still be OK. I'd take AD over either ONE of those guys. Having Suh certainly lessons the impact of AD sitting out or getting injured.
