....at 4 facilities. No cases of COVID. About 240 residents. It did help that NM set up one facility to accept all positive COVID patients who required post acute care. All others need 2 negative tests prior to transfer and need to be isolated for 2 weeks in a dedicated ward/hallway before they can be mingled into the other residents. All staff wear goggles and masks when in the facility and must gown including gloves when in the isolation wing. Only 3 employees have tested positive, and weekly tests are the norm. Nothing is perfect, but so far so good.
