Yeah there's all sorts of sources, and not just American at that (and I mean in English).

The medical community alone has dozens of dedicated information journals and sites which are meant to inform the general public (and so are not direct hardcore research venues only specialists can read).

And beyond that there's all kinds of different news sources, some for niche audiences, which seek out and keep up with developments in the medical field.

Rightie sources have agendas and in my experience whoever depends on them is being routinely misled.

What you look for (as you know) is consensus from associations and institutions dedicated to understanding epidemic diseases and how they work in populations.

NO ONE in the WORLD anywhere who belongs to those fields built on trained medical understanding and consensus built info designed to hold up to expert scrutiny is advocating the idea that lockdowns were a mistake.
