The draft isn't for this year, its a long term pick with a long term plan.
The Rams knew Allen was a FA after the season, they also knew Corbett was a FA after the season as well. And apparently the plan was to have Corbett as the OC. Well, thank goodness Allen stepped up, because for whatever reason, Corbett couldn't be the OC. Whether that was because Evans wasn't working at RG or Corbett couldn't make the transition. Doesn't matter. But even if Corbett would become the OC, they still have the same problem this year. No OC. Because both guys and Shelton are FAs.
So why the hell not draft Humphrey, who not only fits the scheme, but was one of the top OCs in draft and was NFL ready? Even if he sits behind Allen, he is good to go in 2022. And provides insurance this past season. its not like Tutu did anything this year and even if he did, he was lost behind Kupp, Woods and jefferson...
of course I am biased because I targeted Creed early on, really early and never moved off him. Tutu is just a weird pick. It felt forced because McVay badly wanted explosives. Well guess what mcVay, Kupp can give you all the explosives you want if you give him a chance. he had a fairly OK year if recall.
