Look at All 22. 1st half and 2nd half completely different for Burrows.
1st Half, ball was coming out quick. Burrows hitting check downs.
2 things changed:
1) I think having success on the long ball to Chase and then the controversial one to Higgins opening the 2nd half made him greedy. He was holding the ball much longer in the second half. Had check downs available, but didn't throw to them. Had guys open mid range, but he was waiting for the cut vs anticipating the opening.
2) the DLine stepped up. Reduced the time to throw.
These 2 things coming together threw Burrows off. He held onto the ball way longer than 1st half script. Then had less time to throw which he didn't figure out as he had more time in the 1st half.. which then created all these 6 sack opportunities for the Rams in the second half. His clock was wrong.
