Good coaches do learn and change.
The question is did, somehow, Morris change midseason? No. Not the way these guys who hated him are talking
They are just embarrassed because they wanted to fired a guy that deliver as much of the ring as anyone
else, if not more so.
They don't want no book learnin', no gobbledygook or fancy talk of Xs and Os. That is their right.
I just don't live on a planet where ignorance rules the day. What they say is so far afield, and they
do it over and over, that it's a joke.
So, disagree, it is spin. They want to be right and will manufacture poop to try and prove it.
In the interests of accuracy and context, some of us, including yours truly, favored the firing of Morris IF at season end he had continued on his early season path of mediocre results. But NOT until season end.
That’s a FAR different thing than demanding his being fired at midseason as you have implied many times.
I think my position then was very sensible and pragmatic.
Happily, Morris finally got things figured out and began fixing things, especially his aggressiveness. Who doesn’t love happy endings?
