When I go see the Rams in Philly, I don't wear Rams stuff because of this. Sure it SHOULDN'T be an issue but that's the reality of it.
I go, I watch the game, I leave. And honestly, I don't blame a home team for taking some offense to an opposing team fan. Let it go sure but I can see how it can happen. In fact if that many niners fans were in Philly... I am pretty sure there would have been mayhem.
So I understand this is blaming the victim for his attack. And I understand and agree that you should be able to do almost anything and not be harmed. But at what point does someone walk into a lion's den and bear some responsibility for what happens. Some people are thugs, some people are deranged... You should be able to poke a bear but I don't understand the disbelief when it attacks. It is going to happen. Until nearly everyone is actually kind and mature, people need to realize that the world is not 100% safe. We lock the doors to our car... if someone steals something out of our car the first thing that is asked is "was the car locked"... well why does this matter?
Things like this shouldn't happen but honestly I am surprised and thankful there weren't more instances.
