Not exactly how it went down.... when the talk first started about possible move back to LA, the STL posters were in denial and became very hostile towards the LA folks who were talking about it...they even had to make a separate baord for the issue...this was a two way street for sure of LA vs STL ...the LA fans were never disrespectful and mostly just excited about the the prospect of the Rams coming back home...were not disrespectful until they started being disrespected
It wasn't exactly a great issue to have a quiet conversation about..... honestly it should have just been a banned topic back then
Most of the "disrespect" shown wasn't even by STL posters... at least not posters who live in St Louis. If you think back, folks in St Louis were pretty quiet for the most part once the move was confirmed. The folks in St Louis just took our lumps in silence while people on The Herd stuck it to us day in and day out. Those posters who had so much to say... almost all of them lived outside Missouri, even the ones who verbally opposed the move and verbally defended us. They had more to say about it than we did. And most of those who perpetuated the conversation aren't even members of The Herd anymore. They've died, been banned, moved on... or just stopped participating. There was one rabid poster (who was revered around here... whom I couldn't stand... but who will remain nameless) who took every opportunity to go on and on about the move and would say some pretty vile things... to the point where an admin had to intervene. I still have those posts stored on my computer. And I still don't like the man to this day because of how he behaved towards us. He was NOT alone.
So you can remember it however you want. But let's get the facts straight. Stop with the "both sides" cr@p because it wasn't that way.
Do you feel like y our anecdotal experience is factual compared to everyone else? You're really painting a picture like everyone in St. Louis was an angel. You're either rationalizing or justifying whatever poor behavior some of them exhibited and that isn't being factual, it's trying to make your side look better than the other side.
