They were more than happy to rip the hearts out of plenty of loyal Rams fan in SoCal and are butt hurt now that they moved back to where they called home for 50 years....
time to move on.... the deal they made to steal the Rams burnt them and karma is a beeeotch..... this board has always and always will welcome Rams fans from St. Louis who stayed loyal to their team regardless of where they play.... many of us on here stayed loyal to the Rams even after the wicked witch ran them into the ground and then off to St Louis because we love our Rams. I completely understand the frustration because we lived it, but never respected the fans who bailed on this team just because they play in a different venue or state, in LA or STL
The deal was a pretty simple deal if you look at the basics of it.... keep the stadium in the top 25% or lose the right to keep them, STL never really came close to keeping up their end of the bargain and that is why the Rams are now back home where they belong.
Yup. This whole article is talking about 2013-2015, which was too late. I find it galling that St. Louis is acting upset about the Rams not acting in good faith when they are the ones who continually didn't live up to their end of the bargain. Their stadium proposals were jokes and IMO, grandstanding. They could never meet their lease agreements because they didn't have any money but the Rams were expected to stay under St. Louis control and on top of that, provide a large chunk of the money to make the stadium upgrades.
This whole thing is nonsense. St. Louis has only themselves to blame in all of this and just because Kroenke didn't lay out all of his intentions to the public, doesn't mean that he did anything wrong. Why should he be saddled to a situation where the local government isn't keeping it's promises, trying to take money out of his hands and wants to force him into unfavorable conditions for future decades?
