Detroit had some weak coaches, a weak GM, and piss poor ownership for all those years. Jim Cauldwell was good for Detroit, 3 out of 4 winning seasons, playoffs twice. Of course the stupid owners dumped him and served the loyal fans here Patricia and Quinn.
Their defenses were overall bad. They had one great defensive year and a couple of average ones. Other than that they usually finished in the bottom third of the league. [

I really like Goff and I hope the best for him but my heart and mind tell me he's going to be beat up physically and mentally this year.
I think both Roman and Zn have made the case that Stafford is not overrated. There really isn't an argument to be made counterwise.
