It’s very likely that other teams had already filled out their staffs. Another reason that this timing seems weird.

However, it’s also possible that Kromer is still being paid on his old contract, so he should be okay.

And it's not clear he wants to coach this year.

But I like the logic. cool smiley (Beware, sarcasm on its way.) So McVay can do no wrong even though he hired a not so good OL coach and kept him for 4 years.
