Well, ultimately, his opinion matters the most. And he knows a lot more about football than we do or any of the 'real game watchers' that we admire.
And no one is saying that the OL didn't crash and burn in a few games or that it doesn't need continued work.
What is being said, and what has been debated here, is that Goff was the primary problem. It's still ok to disagree but at this point, it's apparent that Snead and McVay felt the same way.
Lastly, with McVay praising Wolford's decision-making and Rodrigue confirming that he appreciated that about Wolford, it sounds like there were some bad decisions and lack of processing in Goff that McVay felt had nothing to do with the OL. For example, he hinted as much after the MIA game when he said "the OL executed well."
Sure, the OL needs work but it was the QB who was primarily the issue with the stagnant offense.
