Epic. this has to be perfect. He cannot run the same offensive game plan and expect this to work. He cannot trot out hte same WRs and skill sets and expect Matt to produce a better result. If Goff had a calming affect on McVay when he was slinging it all over the field Stafford will do the opposite with so much riding on him to win a SB when we likely are the 2nd best team sharing our stadium.
Stafford is not Lebron James. If McVay had built the thing around Goff and gave him the protection and weapons rather than think a throttled offense could be better shows that the kid is primed to be fired one day and then he may grow up to be a man somewhere else. Not wanting him to fail but this actions has all the earmarks and fans that are like in McVay we trust are in for some serious dissappointment.
Some professional commentators are picking up on these issues.

Is it fair to say that Sean McVay falls out of love quickly with his stars based on how his track record with Jared Goff and Todd Gurley?? Something to consider... Love ‘em and leave ‘em in LA
it’s more about the pattern of falling in and out of love with his stars quickly. Much like Jon Gruden has done in the past. It’s something to watch going forward. If his players can't make the Xs and Os pop like in his mind, he moves on w/o acknowledgment of his own flaws
