I agree, they probably will not plan on going down that route again now as we have a solid roster built. Now the plan will be to use draft picks to replace some of those vet's who are looking for big bucks.
That said, if they think they have a shot at that SB again, they might just try another short term trade to try and take them over the line.
I would rather they didn't. In 2018 they could have drafted 2 good CBs with a couple of the picks they traded. Right now they would both be in the 2nd year of 4 year rookie contracts and the team would have more that 7.3 M left over compared to having Peters. I hope they do it that way going forward, instead of the rob Peter to pay Paul approach.
We just differ on this particular thing.
