While I think Snead will not hesitate to make similar trades, I think overall 2018 was a bit of an anomaly. Adding Cooks, Talib, Peters and later Fowler all via trade is highly unlikely to happen consistently. And they didn't this year. I think, especially as Goff's extension approaches (not to mention Johnson and Kupp), the approach they had this offseason of adding released veterans and drafting value picks is much more an indication of what they'll do. Now could they make A trade in 2020 to fill a gap? Sure. Four? No...
But honestly, I think the 2018 moves were largely not only about more firmly establishing the Rams brand in California but to help spur PSL sales for the new stadium. They were not going to risk slipping backward after 2017 prior to those going on sale. Just my opinion.
They have all their 2020 draft picks (first time in years) plus projected two extra 4ths and (as of now) the 14th most cap space in 2020. Plenty of assets and flexibility.
