Thats a pretty big problem in a passing league, though.

Fisher gets a lot of grief for the bad offenses, but sometimes it was his defenses that disappointed. Often seemed like that Greg Williams D was getting gashed by the run. They were often spectacularly good, but then followed it up with pretty lame performances. I dunno.

For me the Fisher years were about 60 percent injuries and 40 percent Fisher and Friends of Fisher.

At any rate, Fisher is one of them big subjects that peopulz have made up their minds about. Like Mermaids. Or Gilligan's Island.

I think that the injury (and move) issues were so significant that really, most people really can't honestly say what percentage the coaching was.

I just think there's a reflexive tendency to put losing on the coach.

In terms of describing Wms defense, you just described Wade's Rams defense too.

And I like Wade. I think he's one of the 2-3 best DCs in the game. But he has some personnel issues at the moment. So did Wms.

I honestly don't believe there are waterproof black n white narratives for any of this. (I also believe it's okay to use mixed metaphors.)
