that some of you do
It was time for him to go and he got fired and deserved to be fired... its over and done with. He along with Snead left the Rams with one of the best young QBs in football, probably the best RB, the best interior dlineman and a few other very good players.
He didn't know what he was doing with the offense and after 5 years it finally caught up to him
Its over he's old news... The Rams meanwhile are thriving. They are considered the best team in football. Great defense, great offense and special teams
I could see if Fisher set the team back on 4 or 5 years... he can talk away in that booth for all I care
My Rams are rolling!!!!
Haven't the Rams had to shuffle the o-line a little? Haven't they lost some key guys on defense? I thought that was insurmountable for a coach? The Rams always being injured on Fisher shouldn't be an excuse for Fisher, it should be an indictment against him. Overnight McVay seems to have "fixed" that problem so coaching must have something to do with it and in that way, Fisher must have been pretty lousy.
Speaking strictly for myself, there’s no hate for Fisher. Frustration, sure. Especially given Fisher’s arrogance and smugness.
Look, here’s the short version. Fisher took over a bottom feeder team and raised them to almost mediocrity in his first year. But then they steadily drifted back down to bottom feeder status. Some may offer excuses of injury or whatever, but 5 years is a more than fair time frame for him to have overcome his challenges.
In contrast, McVay also took over a bottom feeder team and in his first year he turned in an 11-5 division winner. And so far this year is undefeated while his team is considered the league’s best.
Gotta smh at Fisher’s results and admire those of McVay.
The End.
