The Rams fired Fisher and kept Snead.
Before that time, personnel decisions were mixed, some good, some bad.
Since then, they've been off the charts good, imo.

Well, everyone involved described the draft process as collaborative, both then and now. It's no different now. They drafted well before or this or would not be a good team 2 years in. We don't know about McVay/Snead's record on 1st round picks yet, but we do know that the Fisher/Snead Rams are among only a handful of teams at any time to land such great 1st round picks in 3 consecutive drafts (it's like Greene, Bradshaw, Harris). The lower rounds now seem about the same as the lower rounds before---which is, again, just simply good. So to me that's just Fisher collaborating well with Snead, and then McVay collaborating well with Snead.
