The years count. 2nd contracts go up steadily every year.
It's not a high of 19 M, it's a high of 19 M
in 2016.So at 21 M you are talking about a 3.3% a year increase.
Look at qbs. Carr was 25 M in 2017, and Cousins was 28 M in 2018. That's an increase of 12 % in one year.
Or DE. Danielle Hunter signed for 14.4+ M in 2017. Ansah signed for 17+ M in 2018. That's an increase of 15+ % in one year which exceeds the norm.
I haven't done all 2nd contracts at all positions across 10 years or anything like that. But it's always way more than 3.3% a year.
And so if you
count for years, how much is the annual percentage increase from 19 M in 2016 to 25 M in 2018? It's 10% a year. That's well within normal.
