I thought I posted this before but some how message got truncated.....
In some ways it seems like a strange cintract redo. If cut or traded he cost us $5m dead money. After we redo him he cost $5m if cut and $4m if traded ( I think these are he numbers quoted..... happy to be correctef). Why not change it to $1m bonus and $4m guaranteed base. TA still gets his $5m but if we end up trading only 1m of dead money. Just seems a redo like this would give more options. Maybe TA's agent who knows.
