I don;t think it's him. In this sense. There are only so many ways you can use Tavon, either and both in the passing and and in the running game. But then you have to use him in all those ways. They did it in 2015 when he had 104 touches offensively with nearly 1000 combined yards and 9 offensive TDs.
McV is just simply not using him the way he was used in 2015.
Tavon will always be Tavon, and if a team that uses him the ways he can be used--meaning, if a team uses ALL the ways he can be used (like in 2015)---then he has value. If the Rams cut him some other team will just figure that out...and use him. It won't be the end of the line for him,.
So either McV uses him all the ways he can be used, or he doesn't. That's not up to Tavon.
