Why would the Rams redo TA's contract if they plan to cut him down the road?
The reason I ask is if the Rams released TA while he was on his old contract it would be $5M in dead money against this year's cap ... and if they cut him now it's
still $5M in dead money against this year's cap. It just seems like they could have cut him already if that's the plan. In fact, I think if TA wasn't in the teams' plans for this season they would have already cut him just so he could hook up with another team before the draft.
