Here’s my prediction.
If/when Goff turns out to be a star QB we will here from Kroenke taking credit for picking him.
And it’s not as black and white as you’re making it regarding Fisher being “forced” to take a QB. Life isn’t that simple. Most times there are areas of gray. In this case it could simply be that Fisher was leaning toward keeping all the picks but wasn’t dead set against getting a QB. See, that’s what I mean by not being black and white. It’s very conceivable that Fisher bought into the QB plan and was excited about working out Wentz and Goff, and picking his guy, even though his first inclination was keep all the picks.
Allbright is very good on this type of information. If he says Kroenke ordered the trade up for a QB, then I believe Kroenke was involved in making it happen as some level before Fisher.
