Fisher wasn't the guy who pushed for the trade up.
You state that as though it were a fact, and it's based on nothing.
They didn't even make the trade up until AFTER Fisher had worked out both Goff and Wentz.
That includes the famous Goff workout in the rain.
Plus in your scenario you have everyone acting out this elaborate lie for the behind the scenes reporters, when in fact the one time we know a qb was foisted on Fisher---Young---he let it be known that wasn;t his doing.
You sure have a lot of people behaving like great actors for just being football guys. It all may make sense to you but it doesn't add up as being real outside of that.
....
Are you calling Allbright a liar? Sounds like it.
Also, when Fisher was asked about Goff after he got fired he said the entire organization was behind the pick. He never said it was his decision.
I will concede that Keyshawn cant be trusted to tell the truth on anything. He is a total BS machine.
And this is nothing like the Young pick situation. Goff was not forced on Fisher. I never said that. All I'm saying is that it was a total organization decision to make the big splash move up. I'm saying Fisher didn't originate or push for the trade up, it was an organizational decision. THEY ALL BOUGHT IN, including Fisher. Allbright indicated that Kroenke was pushing for it, but that doesn't require any acting. The bottom line is that Fisher wanted Goff over Wentz. No hidden subterfuge by the Rams.
Here is one plausible scenario that requires no great acting by anyone.
After the Rams get the approval to move to LA, Kroenke talks to Demoff and says what are the chances we can move up in the draft and get ourselves a top QB. Demoff talks to Fisher and Snead about it and Fisher says I hate giving up a ton of picks for a QB, but we'll look into it. Snead and Fisher contact the Titans about a possible trade. The Titans say they will entertain offers. They tell Kroenke and he says let's get something done. Fisher and company go on their famous QB workout trips with Wentz and Goff. Snead stays on the trade with the Titans and he works out the details and runs it by Fisher and Demoff. They come to an agreement on the trade all the while knowing Goff is their guy.
Pretty simple really.
