I agree with your first paragraph. In terms of the 2nd, none of that matters as much as this---Goff spent his college years in a system notorious for never producing an NFL starting qb (going back to 99). Goff was much further behind as a rookie than Wentz, who played in a pro style system in college. The Air Raid system Goff was in, even the variant they had at Cal, puts college qbs much further behind when it comes to learning a pro system,
