Fisher wasn't the guy who pushed for the trade up.
You state that as though it were a fact, and it's based on nothing.
They didn't even make the trade up until AFTER Fisher had worked out both Goff and Wentz.
That includes the famous Goff workout in the rain.
Plus in your scenario you have everyone acting out this elaborate lie for the behind the scenes reporters, when in fact the one time we know a qb was foisted on Fisher---Young---he let it be known that wasn;t his doing.
You sure have a lot of people behaving like great actors for just being football guys. It all may make sense to you but it doesn't add up as being real outside of that.
....
Are you calling Allbright a liar? Sounds like it.
It's not "they're a liar or not." Things like this are just not that simple.
He could be mistaken for any number of reasons in any number of ways.
But either way there's no credible evidence, just that one guy saying something, and all the evidence we do have goes against that claim.
For example. They didn't even put the trade in motion until after Fisher worked out both Goff and Wentz.
And let's pretend its' true. Now that Fisher is gone what is gained by suppressing that "truth."
I can see it now. All Rams front office people of any significance gathered in a circle like players before a game. One chant leader says "hide the truth about Fisher being forced to take a qb, on 3! One two three..." ,,,,and those gathered repeat the chant in unison. But then one confused voice in the background says "but...why, exactly...??"
