Fisher wasn't the guy who pushed for the trade up.
But once it was decided "organziationally" to make the move up, Fisher was responsible for picking the QB.
That makes perfect sense to me, and has been reported consistently that way by Allbright on several occasions.
The big question was who was behind the organizational decision. According to Allbright, it was Kroenke. But I'm not sure it was Kroenke alone. And I highly doubt it was Fisher alone.
Be that as it may, once the decision was made to make the big splash trade up, I firmly believe Silver when he says Goff was Fisher's guy.
