According to Ben Allbright who reportedly has connections with Josh Kroenke in Denver, Stan Kroenke ordered the trade up for a QB, and Fisher was responsible for picking the QB. Kroenke wanted to have dinner with Goff to bless the pick before they made it.
No doubt Kroenke and Demoff were pushing for the QB after the move,and it just so happens they desperately needed a QB as well. I don’t know why anyone would find this hard to believe.
Fisher and Snead made the choice between Goff and Wentz. Guess they could not have gone wrong either way and they decided on the Cali kid.
