RFIP, I certainly meant nothing personal, I'm just trying to get a step-by-step understanding of what happened.

As I say, I was in a crowded sports bar, so yeah-- Blandino's explanation was not "to my approval" because I did not hear it.

If I'm able to find a replay of the game with sound, I will definitely check it out.

A basic question I still have (again, because I could not hear the broadcast well)-- did the Rams infraction occur while the ball was in flight, or did it occur after the returner fielded it? Because if the infraction occurred occurred after the returner fielded it, than the infraction normally would be enforced at the spot of the infraction.

BTW, I believe the rules governing "double fouls during change of possession" were fundamentally changed in 2016.

Again, nothing personal whatsoever, just trying to get clarity on what for me is an interesting problem. Bottom line, given that Washington committed a personal foul, I would be curious about a step-by-step explanation of why on earth the Rams would be forced to take possession at their own two yard line. To me, getting clarity on whether the infraction occurred "in flight" or "during the return" would be helpful.
