Minor quibble, despite agreeing with your main point, RFIP. I was one of the few Britt supporters, and I recognize he was a problem in some ways perhaps in the locker room, but he was perhaps the ONLY Rams player last year on O who:
*Didn't quit trying at least sometimes
*Played with pride and seemed truly frustrated by losing
*Consistently did his job, even if it was just throwing a (rare) downfield block
I'll admit that 1000 yards was probably an overachievement, but the fact that he put up numbers despite missing 3 (or was it 4?) games in such a QB+scheme disaster is really to his credit. I'm not broken up that he was released since it's new regime time, but Britt's consistency was one of the very few bright spots on an otherwise putrid Rams offense. I didn't like his attitude all the time, but I admit that he was one of the rare ones, who really did come to the Rams and play
at or above his contract status.I might be misremembering this, but I think he's the first Rams WR with 1000+ yards since Torry Holt.

Btw, didn't Britt put up 1k last year? And no one even wanted him back.
Hollow numbers ARF, Britt is/was a BUM.
1,000 yards doesn't mean what it use to especially in a pass happy league, playing from behind and you only put up 5 TD"S!
Btw, Britt played in 15 games last season!
