Woods is a good to very good WR, 81. IMO, anyway.
Not a superstar, of course, but very, very solid. Very steady and dependable.
Goff and McVay will settle for solid and steady as Woods' floor.
Woods gets separation, has wonderful hands, understands the O thoroughly, and is an excellent blocker. What's not to like?
Last I checked, his drop rate was only around 2.5%. Just what a young QB and HC are looking for.
It is my opinion that Woods' numbers in Buffalo were a product of the coaching philosophy there, not necessarily his talents.
He will be an effective weapon here for McVay. One of quite a few others, I think.
Why beat him up for not being a superstar?
