It's not an "excuse".

The #1 pick they traded up for got more targets. When he was out Woods stepped into the #1 role and his targets more than doubled. What you cannot ignore here is that when given the opportunity he produced.

And the universal view is that if you watch him, he runs clean good effective routes and has good hands.

Trying to argue against those people by misreading numbers is like trying to explain childbirth to a mother of 3 by citing some statistics you read once.

That's just basically true.
