that game could have easily been tied up by the Rams.
first: early 4th Goff had some really bad throws with
no pressure. The missed TD pass to Everett was thrown behind GE. As Collinsworth said, that was a layup he missed. Also, the next throw to Gurley, again, open and bad throw behind him. I wonder if Goff's confidence is a tad bit rattled with pressure at other times in the last 2 games. Yes there had been pressure and O line not playing well, but he had protection for a lot of the 4th quarter and made some bad and even on completions, the ball was wobbly which is unlike Goff.
The JJ almost interception was huuuuuuge. So close. I know it would have been tough, but Rams would have had the ball around the 40 of The Eagles with over 4 minutes left down a TD.
Of course the Natson fumble was big. Man value that pigskin and I'm ok with you trying to get something out of it, but make a better effort to secure the ball.
Everett and TGII not going out of bounds, but turning up field - final minute. Everett was big in the 4th and Goff's primary target.
Even the Reynolds almost TD. If that ball is thrown a little better that could have been the tying TD.
Lots of little things that added up. Hopefully they get back on track and minimize the mistake and learn from these things. I feel the last 2 games have had the intensity of playoff games and hope the Rams learn and get it out of their system for the real playoffs.
