And I typically don't. I prefer to build mocks with my own board. But I keep coming back to the same conclusion. The Rams do not have enough picks for the positions that need filling.
I've thought this from the get-go.....Pick #26 is the obvious pick to trade down from
What player(s) are there at 26 the RAMS would pick (realistically)? How far down in the draft do they go? etc etc
Should come out of a tradedown with a 2nd (tradeable) low 3rd, and low 4th I thinkI feel like they think they need to come away with at least:
1 CB that can start down the road. The CBs on the roster are short term fixes.
I like CBs Parrish, Strong, Bryant, Alexander, and Riley, and some of them should be (hopefully) at #901 TE that is a receiving weapon. I really think they want to come away with 1 or Warren, Loveland, Taylor, Arroyo or Fannin. Its a good deep class, but there is drop off after those 5. Maybe Evans can be included. I love Helm, but he isn't the WR threat the others are.
The million dollar question. I like Arroyo (RAMS board/Injury concerns) or Fannin. They are doable with a tradedown1 RT prospect to replace Havs. This is his last year under contract and he is no spring chicken.
Yep, an additional 4th would or 5th outta do it?1 WR whether its a slot guy to give McVay some options or a depth pc in case of injury and/or replace Adams in a year (or 2)
This is the #1 priority I feel the RAMS need to address. Go get a WR who can stretch the field. It would be a bonus if he could work out of the slot and move outside.......1 ILB capable of starting. This is hands down the weakest unit on the team.
Absolutely. I get the feeling the RAMS have a low desire to spend any decent draft capital on an ILB, thoughSo thats 5, with only 4 picks in the top 4 rounds. Those 6th rounders are crap shoots regardless the GM. They need to move down and pick up a pick at minimum.
Yes, but a small tradedown or two gets them that draft capital
And it wouldn't be a RAMS draft without a Trader Snead involved
GO RAMS!!
