My personal take on drafting in the first round us to get the best player available at a position. So, I'd rather pick up the best safety when QB, edge, ILB,WR, CB, RB, TE, OL are all gone, with multiple guys from certain positions. Rams need help at certain positions...
TE-Higs is great, but is an aging vet. Park didn't do much and the youngsters disappeared. With Warren and Loveland picked, and I'm certain you're right that will be, I hate reaching for one.
CB-I'm okay with our 3 starters, but 2 are in 1-year deals, so grabbing a good one makes sense. Seems the top guys are plucked. Would the 4th or 5th best CB be better than everyone else available?
WR- we have a great 1,2 for sure with PN and DA. I like Tutu as the 3rd. Was impressed with Whit as the 4th. Sith as a KR/PR/. 5th. Don't see a huge need, but adding another good one makes sense, but I wouldn't reach.
ILB- I would say this is clearly our biggest weak spot on the roster. Speights, Landman and Reeder are average at best and we just got steamrolled on the ground by the Eagles. Ford should help, but is that enough? The best guy available in your mock is gone. Could be the kid from UCLA is a close #2 and would upgrade our linebacking room.
Anyone see a fit?
