And I typically don't. I prefer to build mocks with my own board. But I keep coming back to the same conclusion. The Rams do not have enough picks for the positions that need filling.
I feel like they think they need to come away with at least:
1 CB that can start down the road. The CBs on the roster are short term fixes.
1 TE that is a receiving weapon. I really think they want to come away with 1 or Warren, Loveland, Taylor, Arroyo or Fannin. Its a good deep class, but there is drop off after those 5. Maybe Evans can be included. I love Helm, but he isn't the WR threat the others are.
1 RT prospect to replace Havs. This is his last year under contract and he is no spring chicken.
1 WR whether its a slot guy to give McVay some options or a depth pc in case of injury and/or replace Adams in a year (or 2)
1 ILB capable of starting. This is hands down the weakest unit on the team.
So thats 5, with only 4 picks in the top 4 rounds. Those 6th rounders are crap shoots regardless the GM. They need to move down and pick up a pick at minimum.
