As I understand it he merely wants more gauranteed money, something that Rams can and will easily do. Won’t affect cap at all.
If Stafford had been inclined to be greedy, he could’ve held the Rams up for ransom before this last extension, but he didn’t.
Sure, Stafford wants to be paid, but his higher goal is winning another Super Bowl, I think.
