I don't get why some want to ding Purdy. His performance proves he was one of the top QBs this past season. Might it be a little jealousy or bias based on a hated opponent? Don't underestimate him and don't lull yourself into a false sense of security. He has, and can certainly continue to beat our ass.
We've seen some plain Jane QBs win superbowls because their team has a great defense or great overall strength. Purdy is not one of those QB, he's much better. Purdy was good enough to win the SB. Purdy is better than "good." He could be called "great" for this this season's performance.

I'm hopeful for this year that McSnead strengthens our team enough to beat SF. It certainly is doable with the right trades, FA acqs, and picks.
