Happy to see you chime in!
How many plays would you like to see the starters play in preseason games?
For me, I think at least a series or two in either the second or third game would help. This could be adjusted of course depending on how well they played.
I do think the scrimmages help but they don't provide the "taclking" side of it and when you are not tackling, you are not going 100% full speed. Plays continue even though the QB might have been sacked. It serves a purpose, I suppose.
Our team is just so young and so many new faces are being asked to do things they haven't done before at a whole new level.
You can't play scared and you can't practice/scrimmage scared. Injuries can happen any time, any where no matter if there is contact or not. We see it every year.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
