That would make me insane lol but what I'm saying is guys like that are good at what they do, not necessarily anything more. Wade did an awful job as a head coach. Staley was called the worst coach in the league recently. Some dudes are better at coordinating. Doesn't mean they should be coaches.
And I agree. And I will also add that some coordinators aren't very good at "coordinating" either. lol
In Morris's case, for someone who has been coordinating defenses for as long as he has, I would've thought he would be a little more creative and have more knowledge and complexity to his schemes.
For a coordinator who has been coaching that same side of the ball since 1997, sure seems to lack something when it comes to game planning and creativity.
26 years coaching on the defensive side of the ball and the best you can do is run a prevent defense 95% of the time even while having 3 hof'ers on his unit to work with is a little disappointing IMO.
I try to remember that Morris is being forced to run someone else's system but he just can't do it as well as the original. Maybe that's not his fault but the inability to adjust and create is all on him.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
