When it's Raheem Morris it's "oh only because he has 3 hall of famers" or "they were excelling in spite of him" but Mcvay s best offenses under the Rams were with Todd Gurley, Brandon Cooks, Robert woods, and Cooper Kupp, AND a dominant offensive line. McVay has also had 3 dud seasons offensively (19,20,22). Is he a bad play caller who has only been carried by elite talent (of course not)?
I can see the points in this argument and agree with them too. McVay certainly is BETTER with more talent. What coach isn't? And that is what is being said about Morris too.
I have pointed out McVay's issues many times over the years and took some flack for it. He is not above criticism but I would take McVay over Morris every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Who would you rather roll with? McVay or Morris?
How long do you think McVay would be out of work if he was fired or quit? I can 100% guarantee you it wouldn't be 14 years!!!
The difference is that Morris is NOT in the same coaching class as McVay. He never was and never will be. I know it, You know it. Everybody knows it.
Again, if Morris is so great, why hasn't he been hired as a HC after winning us a SB??? No serious offers in 14 years! Why???
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
