But none of that had to do with the defensive coordinator?
I said he gets "too much" credit for the win. Never said he had "nothing" to do with it but I am not going to anoint him king of DC's either.
The man had 3 hof'ers to work with for crying out loud. People are acting like it was all due to Morris's creative game planning. Sometimes great talent can overcome inferior coaching and schemes.
How was Morris's scheme BEFORE Miller started to turn it on? If I recall correctly, it was struggling quite a bit giving up many double digit time consuming drives. It was maddening.
If Morris is "respected" as much as some want you to believe, then give me one good reason why the man hasn't had one serious HC offer in 14 years???
I have asked that question many times here and not one Morris backer provided one. Not one.
Doesn't that tell you something about how he is viewed by his peers?
Yes, he did "help" get us a ring but he wasn't close to being THE reason we won it IMO.
Personally he sounds like a great guy who the players love but happens to play timid and scared 95% of the time. That is a fact.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
