Ramgator
Damn near cost us a Super Bowl. He can be easily replaced.
Ramsey was Morris's favorite player. He seemed to get more attention from Morris than the other players did IMO.
Also, the scheme seemed to be centered around the Ramsey and the "Star" position while everyone else were just "role players".
It was clear that Ramsey was losing a step or two but instead of letting Ramsey concentrate on just being a DB which had been his "strength" his whole career, he was used in that star position making him think more than just playing on instinct.
Just like the scheme Morris ran didn't help AD or any of our DL/Edges for that matter, it also didn't help Ramsey IMO. I know Ramsey was not that same "shut down" CB he was before but I think he would have been better just taking out the WR1 from the other teams.
To have Ramsey covering TE's and RB's just seemed like a waste to me at the time.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
