Yeah, it is so nuanced and there really is not a right answer. just opinions.
I like Bengals D paired with how Burrow's behaves. You need to pair aggressive defenses with Burrows because he's just not as patient throwing the ball underneath. So you want to give him an aggressive defense so if they do blow a large play, then Burrows would do what he does best which is gunsling. So I like how Bengals have constructed their D and it's style to compliment how Burrows likes to play. Rams D wouldn't work well here in my opinion.
Mahomes has shown more patience.. so I think you can go soft and limit the big plays on Defense.
He can explode when he wants to, but has shown that he's comfortable with doing longer drives.
I did not think he would get this far though as he doesn't have a deep threat... which makes this run more impressive to watch. But this is a reason why I think the Rams D could pair better,
At the same time, I really like Spags. So I don't mind Spags at all as defensive coordinator for Kansas City.
I think his schemes has made up for some talent deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball.
Their D-line has had issues, but he has found ways to free up Jones.
I have not watched Philly at all this year, so can't comment.
And yes, I'd take the 49ers defense over the Rams. There are just too many players there that are blessed with the talent they have both mentally and physically.
