That's not a fact, that's an opinion.
I've watched KC all season and their defense did not look good. That's my opinion.
It was clear to me at least that Mahomes was going to need to carry the team especially against good offensive opponents.

They weren't going to win many low scoring games.

What has been surprising and maybe similar to last year's Rams defense, is that they seem to be playing better in the playoffs.
Holding Bengals to 20 points is impressive.
But that one game isn't indicative of how their Defense performed during the season according to my eyes.
