AND the goat... I think the goat was liked best by people. We never gave the goat a name.... that was negligent of us. This was many years ago.... so long I can't remember just how long ago it was. I'd guess.... 25 years ago? Yet to this day I'll get asked what became of Cochise and Thunder... AND the goat. Yes, they knew them by name.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Your highest point isn't even a mountain? Oh that's WEIRD.... so of course I LOVE IT. :laughing BTW... the highest point in and around my home town is actually man made. I know because I built it. :laughing Many many years ago I bought my Dad two Buffalos... his favorite animal. We raised them as pets. I built a fenced in pasture for them and in the middle of the pasture I built a hillby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

The photo below was our most notable 'countryside' landmark. We had some taller structures IN town but in the country this was it. And notice I said "was". Every person that grew up out here on the westside, several small towns, knew this landmark. It is no more. Accident... a car drove off the nearby road, (no injuries), struck it and did major damage. Why, you might ask? Because I'm sick of driving 80 miles round trip for a haircut. Barbers, REAL barbers I mean, are almost extinct... at least around here they are. So today I'm going to a "Good Haircuts". I have no idea if they do old man old time haircuts. So the photo above is what I'm hoping for, actually.... I swear to you that's my entire families #1 Bucket List football game! Lambeau!!!!! And ALL of us want to attend in winter. :laughing And WOW, Nov 5th... my wife's B'Day.... if she reads this she's going to be begging for your contact info. :laughing S'ok... any day I knew I was going to be lifting anything at all I wore the steel toe boots.... most of the time I didn't because non-steel toe are so much more comfortable... at least to me. I love wearing boots... I think it's just what you're used to. As a farmer a pair of sneakers would have lasted me a day, maybe less. :laughing Currently I wear Redwing Work Boots.... amazingly comfortable.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Steel toed... had I not worn them I wouldn't have feet today. Boots were my everyday wear while farming. Still have, hmmmm, 3 pair? But I don't wear them often these days... I'm like you, sneakers of some kind. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
everyone had a pair for those 'special' jobs requiring a ton of tools to be at hand..... but no one wore them 'regularly' other than one guy. Duane wore them every single day of his life. Duane was my Dad's age. The overalls were how you knew it was Duane. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
a time when overalls were all the rage. I'm NOT doubting you at all... and maybe that happened here as well - - I just don't remember it. I do remember some would don a pair of overalls just to be 'different' but that wasn't common. But while we're speaking of fashion here's one I cannot wrap my brain around... men who think any type of pants, ANY, other than jeans are more comfortable tby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

which is what made it so amazing. It was NOT that I saw this guy pre-Europe and thought "hey this guy looks good I'm going to follow him". I just happened on some info that showed he was affiliated with the Rams so I watched him. Had I not read that I would have been like most and been clueless about him when he was named the backup to Green. But when I did see him I almost imby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought of Green pretty much as a savior. Winning a SB I really didn't think about.... but I felt sure Green would the Ram's back into the 'elites'... a contender as long as he was with the Rams. before being added to the roster was miraculous.... fate actually. It was meant to happen. As I've posted ad nauseam I was following Warner in Europe. I don't do that, as a rule. Never, actually... do I follow a player closely before they are on the roster other than seeing them in college that is. i don't think Martz made Warner great... I think Warner came in great. Martz DID allow that greatness to flourish.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it will be Tre as well.... if I'm interpreting the question correctly as to your meaning. You're right.... hopefully this is a good, (dare I say great), draft class. By what I have posted so far those who've read me know I'm pretty high on Bennett. He won't start this year... hopefully anyway. S'ok.... I have no right calling them "My Celtics"... I've never really rooted for them in my life. I don't have a favorite NBA team. I picked them this year for this reason: Just because. Every so often some 'fad' comes along, (I'm lying, it far more than every so often), that befuddles me. IPA beer probably befuddles me the most of all my befuddlements. That because... it's FOUL. I think was decidedly better than Henderson. After the injury, and as you well point out 'quitting, I'm not certain where Akers is today.
