Darnold's last 7 games: 128 yards; 249; 271; 270; 147; 198; 124 (4 TDs / 3 INTs) - not very good. If Stafford had those numbers ? Their yards on offense in each game since week 13: 219; 365; 314; 365; 288; 361; 281 - not very good. If the Rams had those numbers ? 379; 530; 519; 501; 363; 395; 411 - the Ram's offensive yards since week 13. Anyone seeing anything elsby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
Tough to move that 330 lbs. Could also use him in 13 as a TE and just run it 10 plays in a row? When we get to the 3 yard line flip one to Havs and let him score a TD - lolby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com

I think the Rams and TB have played the Seattle defense the best this year, why? I'm not sure, but here are some numbers. TB played them with a backup RT and RG. Baker was 29/33 for 380! Similar to Stafford week 16. Egbuka caught 7 for 163, similar to Puka and their TE had a good day with 80+ yards. In 35? dropbacks, Baker was sacked 2 times, hit 0 times, and hurried 10 times (week 5) Iby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
Your theory makes sense to me and Darnold not being a big threat to put up a lot of scrambling/rushing yards . . . . . . this is a good game for Shula to dial up pressure. The Rams didn't exactly slow down Walker III in week 16 as he had a 55 yard rushing TD and a 46? yard short pass he took down to the 4? yard line to set up another TD.by since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
Same Stafford always shows up. The question is protection, game script/situation . . . . . . and in Chicago, weather. To say Stafford was "off" in 10 degrees with 20mph winds and flurries is quite a place from which to "argue"/question. No QB/receiver plays to his norm in those conditions. You would have to say every QB in NFL history in 10 degree/20mph wind gameby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
. . . or 2 or 3 ? I don't remember the last time McVay went with a trick type play? Since he rarely does, the defense would probably be surprised? Tutu (former QB and a lefty?) to Ferguson? Or copy any of the several the 49ers have been successful with the last few years. Any "free" long gainer or TD would be huge. And even if it doesn't work, it would give the D one mby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
I was watching the 3rd/4th quarter of the week 16 Seattle game and it looked like Mumpfield was targeted in big spots (no Davante) and of course Dedich was in for KDot. (also, Parkinson dropped a 20 yard gainer on crucial 3 and out drive in the 4th that would have changed outcome? - but I'm sure that was McVay's fault - lol) Davante will be in the Hall, and KDot has played this year at a &qby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll say it again, Sit back and . . . ENJOY the McVay era of Ram football while you can - it won't last forever. If you aren't just giddy with what the Rams have been, are now, and will be for the forseeable future under McVay . . . something is wrong. I would not trade the last 9 years and the next 5 (picks, cap room, talent, preferred FA destination, etc) for any other coach or francby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
The GM and his ability to form a roster to help Allen - that's a whole other question. But Allen is one of the top 3 QBs in the league, if not the best.by since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
"I love playing with Sean McVay. He's like no other." Safety @KCurl_2 on the Rams head coach. On the Jim Rome Show. Still don't understand the "McVay 2nd guessers" / "I know play calling better than McVay" crowd. Maybe they're just Russian bots? - lol By the way, Curl is the 8th best safety in the league this year according to PFF. Not bad for a 7by since68 - RamsFootballFans.com

Here’s an excerpt from today’s TST article… Who should start moving forward? It’s clear that McCreary has earned the opportunity to start the next game. The bigger question is who should play opposite of him. Forbes went out and then Darious played 62 snaps and Durant 54 snaps at CB. McCreary played 42, but I think all at slot CB? . . . 3 point game either way? If the Rams: -hold Walker/Shaheed/JSN down to "normal numbers/no explosive plays" -do not turn the ball over -pressure Darnold They have a good chance of winning Most NFL games (everything being equal - TOs, penalties, explosives) turn on DL vs. OL and QBs: Ram's DL is better than SEA OL (especially if Cross is out). "Second drive. Stafford got sacked on first down. A run on 2nd down got 10. The 3rd-and-8 play was that WR screen to Mumpfield that got 5 yds. I have no idea what the original play call was but the Bears were showing a corner blitz and I am 99.9% sure Stafford audibled to the WR screen. Two unfortunate factors: 1.) Nacua was on the bench so Mumpfield was the receiver and 2.) the Bears droppeby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
I saw him thrown out of one play by a 2B team. Other than that, he was his run-stuffing self. Underrated as a pass rusher as well. One of the best FA signings in all the league for 2025. Let's sign/draft another Poona for next year.by since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
DWill on the goalline stop of Swift with Lake finishing - what a play, Verse too. But who had DWill sticking his body in there like that? Good thing Forbes was out - Swift runs right through him if he's in. I wonder who plays CB in Seattle? Forbes covered JSN pretty well earlier in the season, but does have some liabilities. I agree with you Drew. A clean game is a must. Nothing to do with you, but I would question the number of Ram "drops" in Chicago. I too heard Cowherd say no drops and said the same in another post, but . . . . . . I started watching a replay of the Chicago game and saw two what I would call "drops" by the Rams in the first half. My point is, I don't know what deby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com
Walker is a better runner than Charbonnet, much more explosive. In week 16 I think he had a 46? yard pass reception, a 17 yard run and a 55 yard TD run ? You take those 2 long plays away and . . . The guy is dangerous, kind of like Gibbs/Bijan. The Rams limited Gibbs. They need that focus on limiting Walker. They do that and chances of winning increase a lot. Yes, the World Series in 10 degree weather, slow flurries and 20 mph winds. Pitches going over hitter's heads, outfield throws going into the stands ? Maybe it was kind of mutual? Like you said, GM was not providing McDermott with what he wanted and maybe McDermott thought he could land one of the open positions around the league and have more input as far as draft, FAs, etc? Far fetched, but maybe? Or maybe Buffalo already had a guy "in mind" as his replacement? We'll see how quickly they hire someone. McDermott will be hirby since68 - RamsFootballFans.com

LaDoc is so right . . . McVay is the best coach in the league, and would be every team's #1 choice to hire if he were ever let go by the Rams. "last night, no penalties, no dropped passes - DISCIPLINE MARKERS." I heard Cowherd talking about this and I could not believe it. That is next to impossible mathematically? McVay is so much more than his ability to call plays / create a game plan - which IMO are top 3 in the league. What player would not want to play/work for a coach/leader like McVay?
