Admits he uses a belt on his son still even after the whole switch incident
If I'm the redskins I cut him
Using the switch - that resulted in cuts and bruises - got him charged with felony abuse, which in turn runs afoul of the NFL's Conduct Policy.
Provided the belt didn't result in cuts and bruises, it probably isn't illegal and thus there should be no issue with the NFL's Conduct Policy.
Doesn’t really matter what you’re using to abuse your kids... you don’t strike them with anything period.
He’s an idiot if he still thinks that it’s ok to hit his kids with anything especially considering his situation
People have different opinions on this but the law doesn't say that you can't strike your child. That's what I was speaking to.
You can't be penalized for doing something that doesn't run afoul of the law of the NFL's policy.
Considering your situation you're probably right that he's an idiot but he may still be protected if his actions were legal.
