At any rate, I'm thankful that it worked out like it did. The guy I was playing in my FF league had the Rams' defense. I thought I had him dead in the water, but the defense kept popping 10 point plays with those strip sacks. One more of those and I would have surely lost. Only Brandin Cooks' 100 yard day saved me as it is.

Playing FF and rooting for the real life team/players is tricky but shame on you for rooting against the Rams D. LOL

I was in a similar predicament though. I have Mahomes as my QB, Cooks as my WR and my opponent had Hill.

I started the night behind but eventually towards the end of the game I surpassed him by 2 points. Then Hill had that big 1st down reception and passed me up. At the very end I found myself with the tension of rooting for Mahomes to get a few more yards, without throwing to Hill, but also not getting enough to kick a FG and obviously not a TD.

He threw two INTs which ultimately made me lose my FF game. But I was happy. FF results don't come close to real life for me. Besides I'm still killing my league; that helps.
