I was looking at the schedule this morning and noticed that it didn't seem so daunting now. The Seahawks are entering a tough three game run. They play the Eagles at home, Jaguars away and then they host the Rams. Their last two games are against the Cowboys away (Christmas eve) and a home game against the Cards. The Rams get the Cards away, then three tough games, Eagles at home, Hawks away,by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com

Can’t stand the program, it is the epitome of the hyperbole plague of todays sports world. The topics are contrived and opinions are almost always disingenuous drivel. The show has no content worth anything. Stephen A is the worst of the bunch, everything he says is over the top. His arguements made to support the positions he takes are rarely supported by logic or reason. During his diatribeby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Finally Watkins makes a clean catch. He needs to pick up his game. Soft routes, not great a fighting for balls today. He made some nice blocks on runs.by hammer - Game Time Forum
Under the current rules the 1999-2001 GSOT would be even better. What the GSOT did in 1999 through the 2001 season wasn't just prolific, it was revolutionary. Warner and company were often replaced early in the 4th quarter. Under the current rules scoring in general is up, unless you're Jeff Fisher. I can only imagine what they would do now. Needless to say I love what the Rams are doing. Iby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Does Graham push the defender to get separation on every pattern or just when Wilson throws to him in the end zone? Why no flags for offensive pass interference? Nevertheless The Giants kept them from the end zone!by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com

Grahm stiff arms the defender away when the ball is in the air and does so right in front of the official. We need to train our tight ends better. Everett has very long arms!by hammer - Game Time Forum
TA is flat out over paid and I expect that will be remedied one way or the other at the end of this season. But, TA is a weapon in an offense that has many weapons. TA will contribute all year with positive and occasionally big plays. His speed and elusiveness cause defenses to account for him and any hesitation by a defender or movement toward him when he is put in motion puts the defense at aby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
We had much discussion and a lot of acrimony over our first round pick Bradford. It's still a sore topic with many on this board. So I tread lightly. I wanted SUH, but I'm a Husker fan. Despite Bradford collegiate choice I was happy with the pick and believed he would be productive starter if not a superstar. I supported him against all of his detractors because he was a RAM. The false start on the offense after they were first down in the red zone was very disappointing. I suspect with a lead McVay wasn't going to take a huge chance to throw for a TD, knowing that a field goal would force them to get a TD.by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
The offense is much better with TA than without. His speed and ability to run in space make the defense use resources they would otherwise use to key on Gurley or rush the passer. It makes the defensive backs hesitate. It gives the offense an advantage. The jet sweep to Austin and the threat of it stretches the defense, it helps to create space when Gurley runs. I think the author nailed this, something I don't say often when I read anything from the Bleacher Report. Sea Chickens are ripe for the plucking, the Rams need to sweep them.by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Prescott was late on some throws but they were where the receivers were able to catch them and in almost every occasion contested passes were caught by Dallas receivers. The Rams need to defend these better than the Cardinals did. Prescott ability to buy time and make plays Is very impressive. His ability to run certainly will stress the defense. The Rams need to be very disciplined. I'm not confby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Posts here indicate that he is not the owner of the car. Was the gun in plain view? The trunk? Exactly where was it? Did he borrow the car from someone? Under what circumstances? Did Westbrooks know the gun was in the vehicle? If he knew the gun was in the car? Did he know it was stolen or did he come to posses it under circumstances as would reasonably induce him to believe it was stolen? Thesby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
That long pass should have been defended better, but if that series is a three and out, there would not have been a long pass play. Every mistake made which allows the opposition another opportunity to keep the ball increases their chances to score. The defense has allowed the opposition too many chances by allowing them to extend drives because of their mistakes. A good defense will limit theby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree whole heartedly Rams43. I see a team that made some fundamental errors that more seasoned teams don't. Those mistakes created opportunities for the 9ers to score a lot of points and put the game at risk. Was it coaching or inexperience of the players? I feel some of it was exuberance, like Cooper running out of the end zone. The team will find its identity. Foolish penalties need tby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Beyond a reasonable doubt is a criminal standard. That is a much higher burden of proof than is required in civil matters. An employer is not required to wait for a conviction in a criminal trial or find beyond a reasonable doubt before they can act if you violate a personal policy. A preponderance of the evidence is all that is required.by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Offense is beginning to jell, coaching and player upgrades on offense are paying dividends for Goff's development. The ceiling looks high for Goff and this offense. The line is not deep. Short yardage with Gurley was atrocious. Can't get a yard from the goal line running up the middle is very concerning. The team ran the ball with some effectiveness otherwise. My apologies to the Board and TG. I can't emphasize how important it is to run into the hole; because if you run into the whole you most certainly be hit in the backfield!by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with you on the offensive line, especially last year. This is a new line and I hope it develops into a cohesive unit. When 8 are stacked in the box and the defense knows your going to run or throw a short pass the odds are against you in the run game. The line needs to protect the passer, get a few balls completed down field and the odds will turn. They still have to execute and openby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
In no particular order these are my observations of Gurley and the Rams running issues. l 1. Gurley is hit in the backfield too frequently, although I expect that to occur less frequently. 2. Gurley seems slow to the whole. Is it vision, is it trepidation becasue of being hit in the backfield so frequenlty last season? 3. Being a half step slow to the whole increases the likelyhood of beingby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com

If one buys the concept of "put performing a contract" then you should accept the alternative. If a players performance drops below the "contract" then the team should be able to cut their pay! The current salary structure in the NFL is a mess, but I really don't think any new CBA will fix it. I love incentive laden contracts in team sports!!! Those tricky tacky calls have changed the game so much I hardly recognize it; calls should not determine the outcome of a game, but so many games turn on them. It makes the game shard to watch.by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe that if given enough time JG will become a good QB under McVay or with another franchise patient enough to let him progress as a pro. If Goff progresses this year McVay will stay the course; if not the Rams will have a new stater next season. Some coaches are known to develop QB's, I believe in McVay, Fisher was the opposite and what he did with Goff set him back! i love what Goff wby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
James, great point about play calling in the preseason. i'm convinced that a great offense calls plays that give its players a chance to succeed, rather than just throwing something out there so that great players can try to make plays. The GSOT had both, great players and play calling.by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't disagree with Rock about Bleacher Report. But my take from the article is duh, what McVay is doing with his QB is what good coaches are supposed to do. Gurley's awful performance last year is proof that the Offensive mess was on the coach. Not enough attention was given to the offense. The talent was lacking on the offensive line and the recievers. Add to that some of the worst play caby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Grits, I could not agree more. This is Goff's rookie year as far as I am concerned. He didn't get enough reps early last year to have a shot. Then he was asked to start on an offense without weapons, an offensive line, a running game or any imagination. Gurley's performance last year demonstrates how bad. I'll withhold judgement on him until things get real, but McVay has put him into a positby hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
Trade AD now while his value is highest. If you give him a large contract then you will limit the teams ability to fill positions and keep talent because of the CAP. The defense is good enough without him So trade him for some talented player(s) and some picks!!!by hammer - RamsFootballFans.com
